When you access or book through www.RescueCPR.net (the "Site"), how we collect and handle your information depends on your interactions with our pages and booking system. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

1. Age Requirement & Minors (COPPA)

This Site is intended strictly for individuals who are at least 18 (eighteen) years of age. By using this Site and registering for courses, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that personal data of a minor under 13 has been submitted without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete that information from our records.

Rescue CPR, LLC does not obtain personally-identifying information about you unless you choose to provide such information to us. The data we collect is divided into two categories:

If you browse our Site to read course information, check schedules, or view policies, our servers automatically collect and store limited statistical and network diagnostic data:

B. Information You Actively Provide to Us

When you schedule an appointment, register for a CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS class, complete checkout, or submit an inquiry, we collect information you directly input:

  • Contact Information: Full legal name, email address, and telephone/mobile phone number;
  • Mailing & Billing Details: Street address, city, state, and ZIP code;
  • Course Registration & Order History: Specific certification programs selected, training dates/times, location selections, and historical certification records; and
  • Inquiries & Customer Support: If you contact us via email, phone, or contact form, the personal details and message contents will be used solely to respond to your specific request.

3. How We Use Collected Information

We utilize the information collected for specific operational, educational, and regulatory purposes:

  • Course Registration & Rostering: To reserve your seat in class, prepare class rosters, verify attendance, and manage student limits in accordance with AHA and ARC instructor-to-student ratios;
  • Certification Issuance (eCards): To transmit your required course completion records to the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) training platforms for digital eCard creation and verification;
  • Operational Communications: To send email and SMS confirmations, calendar reminders, parking directions, and critical notifications regarding weather cancellations or instructor emergencies;
  • Payment Processing & Invoicing: To facilitate secure payment authorization, fraud screening, and financial receipt distribution via our PCI-compliant payment gateways;
  • Statistical & Performance Analysis: Software programs are used to create statistical summaries to assess visitor counts, identify popular pages, optimize server performance, and diagnose technical or booking issues; and
  • Website Security: To monitor network traffic to detect and prevent unauthorized attempts to upload content, damage databases, compromise booking forms, or commit fraudulent chargebacks.

4. Third-Party Disclosures & Service Providers

We Do Not Sell or Rent Your Data

Rescue CPR, LLC will not knowingly sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personally-identifying information to unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

We share your personal information only with necessary and trusted service partners to execute course operations:

  • Accrediting Bodies: The American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) to generate, verify, and store your official digital certification eCards;
  • Payment Gateways: Payment processors (such as Stripe) to securely process credit and debit card transactions. We do not store full credit card numbers or CVC security codes on our local website servers;
  • Scheduling Software: Our booking calendar platform (Amelia) to maintain accurate appointment schedules and customer profiles; and
  • Legal & Regulatory Authorities: When required by lawful court order, subpoena, government inquiry, or to protect the safety, legal rights, and property of Rescue CPR, LLC.

5. Cookies & Web Analytics

This Site utilizes standard cookies to preserve your booking selections, keep you logged into customer portals, and collect anonymous traffic statistics. You may adjust your browser settings to reject or delete cookies; however, doing so may prevent the online booking form from completing your registration.
